March Notes

March feels like a quiet reset for a home.

As the light changes and the days grow longer, interiors begin to take on a different feeling as well.

This month often draws my attention back to the foundations of a space — the materials, textures, and layers that give a room its depth. Natural woods, linen and woven textiles softening a room, stone and aged finishes adding a sense of permanence and history.

This time of year, I’m also reminded that thoughtful spaces are rarely created all at once. The most balanced interiors are built slowly — through pieces that feel considered, materials that wear beautifully with time, and a mix of old and new that keeps a room feeling grounded rather than overly styled.

March feels like the beginning of that process again. A moment to step back, shift a few elements, and allow a space to evolve naturally with the season.

A few of my favorite finds as of lately…

  1. A very pretty Watering can

  2. A Pre-made seed bundle to start your own California garden

  3. A natural, hydrating lip crayon

  4. The perfect white from one of our favorite wineries to visit this time of year

  5. A Tarragon dijon mustard to elevate spring salads and vinaigrettes
